Perhaps this is the wrong forum for asking about a Ford, but here goes. My uncle is putting his old 351 Cleveland from his Mustang into a pickup truck. He was originally thinking of running a 3-speed automatic, but I think I've talked him into running a stick. I know Mcleod makes a bellhousing adaptor to mate a T56 to the Cleveland block.
Here's my question: what all would be involved with getting a clutch to work with an LT1/LS1 style T56 mated up to a Cleveland? Any input would be appreciated.

You might want to have John B or another mod move this to the hybrids & swaps forum.
What's the normal clutch linkage on that vehicle? Have you researched what ballstud the McLeod bell supports? The adapter plate from the bell to the trans. is what supports the bearing retainer. Then you'll need a brg. w/ the right i.d. to match that & then a 26 spline disk; shouldn't be bad, but you're gonna have to understand the donor, the recipient and what clutches will work together
