Clutch suggestions

Clutch suggestions Would like some input on good clutches... I have an 02 Z-28 6speed with 350rwhp 370rwtq I'd like a clutch good for around 500rwhp. Also +/- of running a lightweight flywheel? Would like to throw a short throw in also while doing the clutch. Any input on all this is appreciated! Thanks

McLeod, Monster are two options for clutch. For 500 HP generally the friction material on the disc is full face organic one side and some type of ceramic puc on the other aka "dual friction" disc.
Lightweight FW are more suited for auto X use. Street & drag racing a standard weight is better. If your current FW has not been resurfaced, have it turned at a machine shop for a new clutch

I have the monster stage II and lightweight flywheel no ill effects from the lightweight flywheel. Your budget is going to determine the best suggestion, the lighter the setup the better if you can afford it Tony Mamo has been doing pretty interesting things with the RPS clutch.

Its not cheap but its not expensive either....I do offer the same clutch with a steel wheel and you save a few hundred but the aluminum wheel version really reduces inertia and not only drives great it adds a solid amount of RWHP to your bottom line as well (8-10)
This is a clutch you can grow into also which is nice....it would hold a 408 or even a 427 stroker down the road giving you some room to expand and make more power later
