which way do i turn my adj master

You have to put freeplay into it then. In otherwords thread the rod into pedal clevis.
This will pull the piston out of the master some & give you the extra freeplay. This will move the engagement point some. You can only move it so much, I usually adjust it for freeplay/feel. Do not overadjust it may not totally disengage if the rod is adjusted in to far.
Once you get in there & adjust it a couple of times it'll make perfect sense.
I drove around for a couple of weeks with the lower covers off messing with it on & off at the track etc. Finally got it where I wanted it & put it all back together.

The shorter it is adjusted the engagement will be closer to the floor. You can only go so far though and the "freeplay" that is mentioned will be clear once you do it. I didn't like so much "freeplay"....mine was actually noisy that way.
