Default Need help figuring out if problem is master or slave cylinder please

My pedal went to the floor all of a sudden and I can barley shift it if I have my pedal all the way to the floor and as soon as I barley release pedal it fully engages and there is no smell coming from clutch

I Know it's impossible to diagnose over the internet but was curious if this was for sure the slave or master cylinder

Thank you

Disconnect the hydraulic line between master and slave. Press clutch pedal in. If it goes in, it's the master. if not, it's the slave.

I know some people don't do this but its a thought. When ever one of the two go bad I replace both master n slave. I tried to get away with in last year but ended up doing both. I bought GM parts because the originals lasted 18 years so....O and Its a ************ to replace the master but.......
