Default 4L60E to T56 HELP!

My husband and I just finished putting my 2002 Trans Am back together yesterday. It was an automatic but now is a 6 speed. Everything was going smoothly until we tried to move the car. When the car is running, the transmission will not shift into any of the gears. But when it is not running it goes into any gear easily. The clutch has been bled to the point where it is very stiff and no air bubbles are coming from the line. HELP!

Jack up rear end, start car with clutch pushed all the way in and in gear, do the tires turn?

If so you have disengagement issues which prevents getting in gear, especially reverse, with engine running.

Assuming your clutch hydraulics are completely bleed (read you sure?) you need to either add a shim behind TO bearing or get a deeper one.

If you post part #'s used maybe someone can comment on if its the right TO bearing

Get It out in the street, shut it off, put it in first gear, depress the clutch pedal. Start the car and see if it moves. If it does, you need to start rechecking your setup. This next question is not to intended to question your ability, but is it possible you got the disc in backwards…???

We found the issue. The braided line from the master cylinder touched the header and put a hole in it. Hopefully that's all that's wrong. We will find out today. Thank you guys.
