T56 upgrades Hey guys, I picked up a CTS-V T56 with plans on converting it to work in an Fbody to replace the POS 60e. I have the write up by 85MikeTPI about putting an SSR mainshaft in it. As far as I can tell, the only extra cost will be the machine work and the yoke to fit the 32 spline. Now onto my question. The large retailers do the polishing and cryogenics to help increase strength. Are those major factors in a T56 holding the 750+ rwtq? I know weight plays a large part and such. Is it actually worth doing the 32 spline vs just getting a GTO main? I figure it will cost ~$300 to do the upgrade over the work I already have to do.
