2nd gear pop out issue following slave/master replacement
Hey guys,
so I made a thread on this a few weeks ago and neglected to mention one important detail. I recently had a new slave cylinder and master installed by a buddy. Prior to this it shifted into 2nd without any pop outs. Is there a chance he didn’t adjust something right that I should look at? See below for original post with more details.
I bought a camaro about a year ago. Supposedly had the t56 rebuilt along with the motor. 60k or so miles.Shifts great into all gears with the exception of every once and a while when I’m driving and shift into 2nd at low RPMs it pops out quickly after. This ONLY happens when shifting into 2nd at low RPMs. Like most people with any shifting issue I fear this is a sign of something that could lead to the trans pulled apart or rebuilt? Sucks because it’s such a minor flaw at the moment.. figured I’d get some input before making a move. By the way the car still has the stock hurst shifter. Also has a new master and slave cylinder.
