99 z28 with 130,000 miles, original trans and clutch. Just started yesterday. I drove it a little hard, but no high rev fast shifts. All of a sudden, with no noise or anything, the shifter would not let me put the trans into R, 1st, 3rd or 5th gear. 2nd, 4th, 6th seem fine. tried again this morning, and no luck. What might be the problem to look for?

It was the shifter. It's a Hurst and the front stop needed to be backed off. All s good.
