Is there a difference in the bell housings when the T56 is used on an LT engine vs an LS engine? I'm just wondering if the T56 can be used if the LT engine is swapped with an LS engine. I know it is common to swap the LT with the LS, but I wasn't sure about the transmissions. I'm thinking that a T56 behind a 5.3L would make a nice daily driver.

 

They are not interchangeable. Input shaft and bellhousing need to be changed. Do a search, tons of threads on this
