Billet steel or aluminum flywheel for DD 550ish RWHP?
Next thing I need to decide on is the flywheel. Aluminum or billet steel for a 550ish RWHP DD that might see the drag strip twice a year?
I know that aluminum will rev up/down faster and will be less rotating mass and less parasitic loss. But what about daily drivability. stop and go tracfic, and freeway driving?

We would go with a billet steel flywheel for something that is often daily driven. There are light-weight versions that give you an in-between of aluminum and full-weight billet steel.
