hey all, i went to the track last night to see what it would do

i've got a spec stage 4 clutch, McCloed adjustable master cylinder, and an 01-02 slave cylinder. i've also done the drill mod.

went to 6,200rpm, pop the clutch, and it seemed to not come back very quickly. still pulled a 1.77 like that but the clutch was soft the rest of the night. on the way home it started firming up.

i checked fluid and it was all topped off, and only about 2 months old (itd DOT 3 brake fluid)

what can i do? i thought i had the best of the best but this isn't cutting it

Try mitivac bleeding it.

been there had the spec 3.
only way that i found to fix it is put another type of clutch in, maybe there is another way i dunno

next step is a 3 finger twin disk

honestly, if the setup i have right now doesn't work, i'm gonna sell it and jump on the 350 turbo bandwagon which sucks because i love shifting my own gears

6k Dumper here with a Spec III and no problems! How did you bleed it?

pump it a few times... put it to the floor.... the person down below lets out pressure.... he caps it back up... i let my foot off it. just like i do brakes, right?
