Clutch slave cylinder line stuck????

Default Clutch slave cylinder line stuck????

What am I doing wrong here? I've never had this much trouble with this piece of ****...

The white clip is all the way in.

and what is the point of this "quick disconnect tool"? Looks like it only work if you pull the damn transmission...

Get a fathead screw driver. Push in on the connection while pushing in the plastic tab that is around it and once pressed in you pull on the connection to release it. I could have this backwards and its pry the plastic tab out and pull on the connection but that was the tool I used to remove it.

I use an 11/16” line wrench. I put it around the line and place it against the plastic piece. Push against it while pulling on the line. Pops right out every time. I’ve never had an instant of trouble with these things. Takes about 20 seconds.

Couldn't remember if it was push in the tabs or not, I've done this only a few times but I've never had an issue. You have to push in on the connector to free up the tension to push in the tabs then pull to remove.
