T5 Movement under load

T5 Movement under load
Hello-
I have a 2000 Firebird with about 114k miles that has a "bouncing" T5 shift handle under load. You can rev the engine in neutral and there is ZERO movement, but under load she moves around a little. I put her in the air and replaced the transmission mount after the original complaint from my son, but it only appears to have partially solved the movement problem. I am using an LT1 style mount that is shimmed and it has worked much better than the squishy, expensive stock one. I am thinking of looking hard at the motor mounts next, but wanted to ask if anyone here had some suggestions.
I also have a 94Z28 with a T56 that I have replaced the engine and the trans mounts with poly and there is ZERO movement there (with some teeth rattling) so I have that for comparison.
Thanks in advance!
Paul
