noisy clutch when first starting
It's quick and only happens as I'm releasing the clutch and it's catching.
I'm at a loss. Only two things I can think of:
1. A slave cylinder going bad which I replaced when I did the clutch job myself 2 years ago.
2. Incorrect installation. I took my time, I was very careful, and I followed the torque sequence and specs for both flywheel and clutch.......
Don't know if this means anything, but the clutch had a moderate amount of chatter when I first installed it and settled down after the break in period. There's barely any chatter left. My guess is that it's mostly from breaking in and to a lesser extent, me learning the clutch and being able to drive it better.

I very rarely beat on that clutch. Very rarely. I wonder if it has to do with what you said.. it's a tricky clutch to be smooth with and maybe me spending too much time "finessing" it around town and parking lots and no strong pulls has created this.....
Thanks so much for your input. Much appreciated.
