Slave cylinder issue

Default Slave cylinder issue

Hey guys, I Recently built my motor on my 06 gto and I have a issue going through slave cylinders. First time it blew I was hard shifting from 1st to 2nd and noticed I didn’t shim. 2nd time it blew was another hard 1st to 2nd then I noticed my clutch master cylinder wasn’t adjusted. Then 3rd time I did a 4th gear pull (NO SHIFTING) from 90-140 and I just had no clutch after I let off. I’m assuming it is the input shaft that Is loose on my transmission and I’m going to swap it. I still wanted to see if anyone had a idea or anything else to check for. Greatly appreciated!

If the pedal was to the floor after this pull it is most likely a master cylinder issue.

Anyway you can get into more detail and explain how that can happen? It’s a brand new adjustable master from tick performance unless somehow it’s defected .

Do a google search on clutch pedal sticking to the floor and you'll see the problem is in the master cylinder. IF you have air in the system that can cause this issue as well. For what it is worth... I have removed more Tick Master Cylinders than I have wanted to install. You can also google Tick master cylinder leaking and you'll find pages as well. Customers have had them warrantied out only to have the same issue within the year or more.

interesting, I’m still going to replace the input shaft on my transmission but what master cylinder do you suggest that can possibly prevent this issue? I have a single disk monster clutch lightweight flywheel rated for 600hp. Appreciate your help !
