So this is a 02 camaro pressure plate for a t56. My question is if this 6 puck clutch disc is too small for the pressure plate? Diameter wise. It says it will fit standard fbody clutch components.
I'll greatly appreciate any advice.

There seems to be clutch material below the friction disc plate surface on the 3 short sides, which looks too small. Was this disc included with a clutch kit or are you using the stock one? I used a McLeod kit and it was more traditional and there is a definite area of disc where no pads come into contact with the disc inside edge. This looks to go well beyond the disc edge by 1/8 to 1/4 inch maybe? I haven't used a clutch like this but it looks too small to me.

that's what i was thinking. the clutch that came with the kit fit perfectly around the pressure plate. Its an after market one from ACT P/N (6280306) it didn't come with the clutch kit. its the first time using a 6 puck clutch like this.

Below is an image from replacement after going with a kit clutch kit. I ended up RMAing this one due to a pressure plate failure.

This was when I had to replace the clutch due to an install error that trashed the pressure plate fingers. You can see the wear area on the friction disc aligning with the clutch pads.
