Default Yoke depth

Is this yoke deep enough into the trans? The end of the tape measure simulates how far into trans rhe yoke is.

The best method is bottom it out. Then pull it back for a measurement.

If the car is low. Like rear is same height as transmission. Front joint angle is less than 1. Then the yoke will never go forward from there. A minimum measurement can be done here. Maybe 1/2".
Especially true on cars with a link suspension.
Trucks or cars that sit higher will need more clearance. The yoke will go forward as the suspension compresses.

The car is lowered on coil overs with a wattslink. I'm trying to make my current driveshaft work but it does not look like that is possible.

Install yoke until it bottoms out, pull out 1” then measure from center of u joint to pinion yoke flange (center). This will be your driveshaft length and obviously measured at normal ride height. Also make sure you have the proper yoke for a T56, there are some out there that will work but are not correct. Sonnax T3-3-6061HP is the best one to use.
