Default LS7 Mantic Clutch

I just put a mantic twin disc on my 15 Z28 and Im kinda concerned with the way it feels. Its feela like al the engagement is in the top 2in of pedal. Most of the pedal does nothing, then it all sorta happens rigjt at the top. Does anyone have a mantic twin disc that can tell me how it feels? I havent noticed any slipping, but its very odd to me.

My Mantic feels the same. For some reason, it needs a full pedal stroke to disengage, but doesn’t bite until the top part of the stroke on the way up.

You can install the Tick adjustable master and have it grab where you want. I did a Mamo Mantic twin ceramic in my sons C5 and went with the adjustable Tic master. I set it up to grab where it was when stock, and it’s ****. Easy peasy to drive.

Then I shouldnt have much to worry about? Its just odd. Mine disengages within the first couple inches of pedal travel, and also engages there too.

I contacted Mantic about it and he said there is definitely something wrong. It should be engaging about an inch off the floor according to him when its new. I guess I gotta take it back out

I’m gonna put this in Manual Tranny section, so you’ll get more opinions.

What was your measured slave cylinder clearance? What size clutch master are you running?
