Angry T56 5th and 6th issue....

So ive tried reading a bunch online to figure out my issue but figured Id post exactly what happened to see some opinions or ideas....car is an 02 trans am has 68k on it now with the t56. When purchasing the car originally antivenomefi in florida did a stage 3 build kit on the tranny....had a pro50 shifter in it as well......
two years ago I had the clutch and slave replaced with an ls7.
also two years ago I kept going through tail shaft seals because the bushing was bad inside so this past fall I decided to have the tail shaft replaced.....ordered a new one from AMP and my guy installed it but it put all the gears way over to the right....so far where I couldnt even get it in reverse it pushed into the console so bad. So I had him remove it and just install a new bushing and seal on the old one and throw it back in......well ever since that was done im having 5th and 6th gear issues......5th gear will want to lock and stay into gear and not come out and 6th gear will grind really bad when going in unless I engage the clutch and let rpm's fall to idle and then it will go right in......I had zero issues with my transmission or shifting until the tail shaft was replaced/fixed. We thought there was a chance it was the shifter so I ordered a new tick and just installed yesterday.....took it for a spin and still same issue. Not a huge fan of the shifter tbh.....not sure if its the same for everyone else but the shifter sits dead center and theres no left movement into gear....its straight forward for first and then over to the right for the others.....before first was a tad up and to the left and then worked its way across.....not sure if this is just how tick's shifter is or if this is an alignment issue and part of my problem?

So 5th will randomly go in and out smoothly and no issues......6th very randomly will do the same as well but for the most part they are issues......8/10 shifts its an issue. Is this a fork or syncro issue? slave cylinder issue? bad clutch already? I might have 6-8k miles on the clutch since replacement. Its really bothering me trying to figure this out......oh before I forget....when he replaced the tail shaft housing he did not remove transmission.....he left it on the car.....I read online the only real accurate way is to remove transmission and have it down flat to make sure everything lines up perfectly......Could it be that? Needs to come out and get put back on correctly?? Any and all info is appreciated guys I want my car back normal lol....its a cruiser not a drag car.

Thanks guys!

The housing replacement wasn't completed correctly. Stick with someone who builds these and knows them.

It seems like the preload on the 5/6 counter shaft preload isn't within spec.

Well tore into the transmission and sadly when the previous repair was done on the tailshaft housing they never re-installed the oil funnel was never installed for the counter shaft and didnt push any oil up the shaft to lubricate everything......starved of oil isnt a good thing so now im in a very crappy situation looking for now a new countershaft, 5th and 6th gears and everything else in the back half of the transmission besides reverse. Any one able to help? Do not want aftermarket want OEM if possible!

Thanks!
