Default Rebuilding tick master?

I have a tick master in my 4th gen thats developed a leak. Spoke to tick and they told me theyre rebuildable, and the kit is about 30 bucks.

Has anyone ever rebuilt one themselves? Is it a particularly difficult process or one that someone whos mechanically inclined (and can follow instructions) can do? And if so, is there any resources anywhere that show how?

They have a lifetime warranty. Send it back to Tick and get a new one. I just had to do that this past summer.

Unfortunately for me I bought it second hand, so no warranty.

Are you sure? Did you contact Tilton directly? Even if Tick said no, I suspect Tilton would honor the warranty.

I didn't contact Tilton, I'll reach out to them!
