Default Magnum F Gear Chatter?

I just installed a new Magnum F in my 2000 Camaro and all when fine but I've noticed now what seems like clutch chatter at idle. I've got a Monster level 2 clutch that had no chatter with my 220K T56 in it. I only did the trans/yoke swap and now at idle I get that chatter noise, push the clutch in and it goes away. I've read some articles stating this is what you'll deal with since there are bigger gears in this trans and it's probably rollover noise but no one has mentioned this any feedback from these. Anyone have any thoughts here? It feels like it's driving fine but still have to get through the 500 mile break in period

Does it go away with the pedal barely pressed (i.e. the slave cylinder is putting pressure on the clutch fingers but not disengaging the clutch)? If that's the case, you may have a problem with the throw out bearing. If it's not that, what fluid does it call for you to run? And what are you running?

I have not checked to see when the chatter stops relative to the pedal but will give that a shot and see when it stops. I used the same fluid that Texas Drivetrain suggested which was Valvoline Blue Bottle Mer/Dex non synthetic ATF and it took alittle over 3.5Qts before coming out of the fill hole.

So quick update and observations. Drove the car for about an hour yesterday and noticed that in neutral at idle the noise is there, when I push the clutch pedal in about half way the noise goes away. I also noticed that it's definitely not fully disengaging the clutch as I can feel the car wanting to move forward slightly when putting in gear at a stop but not letting the pedal out. I'm wondering if perhaps I need to shim the slave cylinder or get a new one but I need to do more homework on this

Your throw out bearing is starting to fail. My original one did this. I have all Tilton hydraulics now, their throw out/slave combo is really nice. Fully adjustable as well, no need for shims.

Gotcha, makes sense, I did have to adjust my tick master to make this new trans shift somewhat normal and all that is left is that slave.

The more lopey your cam is the worse the gear chatter will be too. I switched cams and my trans is much quieter now too

I'll keep that in mind. It's not a super lopey cam and the sound doesnt really follow the cam lope. I think this really is a slave cylinder issue and it's chattering against the clutch forks
