Need help with Notchy when shifting
Need help with Notchy when shifting OK it all started when I had a new transmission installed by dealer. When i got the car back it would not down shift unless i did the rpm match technique and it also had a notchy filling when going into gear. So I took it back to the dealer and they bled the clutch and it is still doing the same thing. It goes into gear find when the car is not moving an still running and at WOT, but at regular driving it has a notchy feeling. What do you guys think is the problem here. The dealer says it is not the transmission so they want touch it anymore. What do you guys think.

I had the same problem.The dealer rebuilt my tranny & it was notchy when shifting.Drive it for 500 miles (break-in) and put the gm syncomesh .
I have already driven it 1200 miles and no difference. If i put the syncomesh in it will it help it down shift too.
