Default How to break in a Spec clutch?

My Spec 4i clutch and billet steel flywheel is being installed today. How does one properly break in this clutch? I want to hit the track this weekend if at all possible. I might be able to get about 200 miles on it before then. (Mostly highway)

My Spec 3 was installed just yesterday.

You guys.....!....."400 miles of stop-n-go driving" (prior to aggressive use)

That warning came with my Spec 3. I would follow it. One guy posted on here a couple days ago, saying his clutch is toast after 1500 miles. He thought the lack of break-in might have attributed to it.

Food for thought...

Go to a residential area with lots of stop signs and drive around for a few hours. No traffic when you stall it. 1ScrudeDude said it, Spec warns you to properly break the clutch in not a suggestion.

I would have to say do what they tell you.... normal driving w/ stop-n-go and you should be good to go.

Stop and go traffic for 400 miles. I did it on my spec 3 clutch, and it drives like stock now with a little over 800 miles on it. It is very hard to keep your foot off the gas pedal during the break in process, but I hope it pays off in the long run by having this clutch last a while. Dropping the tranny is not fun.
