Why does it seem most of the McLoud Master "fail"?
Maybe everyone that claims it failed still has some air inside it?
Then a week or so ago took it for good hard drive with my new nittos and noticed on way home that first was getting notchy.Parked it for that day and went to drive it a few days later and no reverse and all the gears are very hard to get into.Checked level and it seems to be ok and checked for air with mityvac and it seems ok.Pedal pressure is still super firm in fact annoyingly firm.I also notice it making funny noises
when pushed in.
I followed directions exactly and even set it where it says too just let pedal out till it stops and slide rod over. This guy on ls1.com said this is why guys have problems they adjust them inwards and this blows out seals etc.Well I adjusted it as he and mcleod said and it seems it blew seals or something anyway.!! Not a happy camper.
I am not sure what to do now.I wont' rebuilt it.Might send it for warranty and if they give me another one then just sell it off to someone that wants to mess with it.
I think will look for system that uses stock masters they seem more reliable.I have a cartech clutch though and it requires adjustable master. The one cartech uses a modified stock one doesn't seem to hold its setting but pedal pressure was not bad at all with that one.
Just can't seem to win with these ls1 clutches..seriously almost going to get an auto and be done with this crap but 460s are pretty weak things and don't want turbo 400 or turbo 350.
