Default Pilot bearing/bushing when going A4 to M6???

I was wondering if I can just buy a new pilot bearing/bushing and drive it into the crank or what? I haven't looked at the motor lately (been away from the garage) and I'm trying to remember if its like a traditional SBC or not? Reason I'm asking is b/c I'm doing a LS1 swap into my 3rd gen and this LS1 originally had an A4 behind it.

Thanks, sorry if its a dumb question!

Yep. Just buy a pilot bearing (GM part number 14061685) and stick it in.
