Single disk Centerforce? No ******* way. Twin disk? I still doubt it, those clutch's are not that strong. The McCleod twin disk or Spec 5 will though

yeah thats what i meant. the twin disk. apperantly centerforce says that the twin disk will hold that much but i 'm just not to sure.

reason i ask is i have a twin right now but have to replace it i just dont know if i should stay with the center force or go with a spec.

mine made it 200 miles and ONE track pass.

700 ft lbs..LOL..I wouldn't trust a centerforce to hold 100 ft lbs..good for anchoring your boat that's about it.

do a search in this section on centerforce..you will see what most folks experiences have been

i guess i'll either go with the spec3 or 4 i'll most likely go with the 3 though. new combo will be the tsp 231/237, 150 shot, and full bolt ons. the spec should hole fine for that i hope.

They are junk I blew two out in one week .I called center force and they told me that they would only hold up to 350foot bls. of tork, hell most stock LS1 has that. Buy SPEC III ceramic had mine in for over a year now with no problems at all

I would do 6,500rmp launches and my centerforce would be the last thing on my mind. The only reason I don't launch any higher is cuz I have the stock rear with 4.10's, that'll go way before my clutch will. As a mater of fact, I do launch at 5,500 without the bottle......Holds just fine. The reason everyone has such bad luck with the CF is cuz no body breaks em in the way your suppose to. I did blow one CF cuz I began putting full power to it after 100 miles on it. It might be somewhat of a pain to put 500 miles on em, but when you do it's worth the effort. I made sure I broke in my second CF, put over 500 miles on it. Oh, and did I mention that CF replaced my blown clutch under warranty? Just my 2 cents, I'm very happy with my CF. Also, keep in mind that I have the McLeod adj. master.....it helps a ton.
