'94 Corvette 6 speed clutch fluid LEAK??
Have reached the point of having to refill CLUTCH RESERVOIR daily, seeing no
visible signs of leakage. Was told SLAVE cylinder was leaking inside CLUTCH
HOUSING. This has been going on for months now. The HOUSING must contain
a lot of FLUID by now. The CLUTCH has NO slippage. My QUESTION is: Does the
HOUSING/TRANSMISSION have to come off to get rid of FLUID or can it be
simply ciphoned out of CLUTCH HOUSING. THANKS FOR ANY REPLIES.

I had the exact same problem with my dad's 93 not too long ago - it drank up all the fluid in the MC and the clutch grabbed like 1/2 an inch off the floor. That's what I thought... but most likely as with other people the clutch master cylinder is leaking through the shaft that connects to the clutch pedal. Eventually you will start seeing fluid down around the clutch pedal and carpet. I jumped on the problem quickly so I didn't see any of that, but that's where the leak was coming from. I think GM Parts Direct wants about $70 bucks for the master cylinder... that's where I got it from.
Now the clutch pedal is way stiffer than my Camaro's. So, I'd almost bet that's you're problem. So check that out. Check around the clutch pedal and linkage to see if you can spot a leak. I don't remember ever hearing about the slave cylinder leaking inside the bell housing... I know my slave cylinder leaked a while back, but it was coming out from the slave cylinder and dripping on the cat... creating some nasty smoke so needless to say that got replaced...
Well, good luck and I hope it sure isn't leaking inside the housing... my vote is for master cylinder if there are no visible leaks anywhere else...

Pull back your master cylinder upper rubber boot (around the pushrod) and look for fluid. That'll tell you if the master cylinder needs R&R'd. Your slave cylinder is external, so that is an easy inspection as well.
