bye bye spec stage 2
bye bye spec stage 2 well, finally ripped my clutch out today. had a spec stage 2 for alittle over 30k miles. i've knowticed it wasn't hitting as hard as it used to and it wasn't performing like i'd like it to, so today i pulled out of a gas station (where some girls, including my exgirlfreind of a couple years back, were hanging out and told me to "get on it" and burn them down, odd for girls to say that but hey, who was i to disapoint) so i roasted the hell out of them all though first, went to second, dropped it and BAM goodbye clutch. i'd like to get another spec stage 2 or maybe a stage 3 but i need my car to drive and all i can afford right now is a LS6 clutch, so i'll be putting that in this weekend in hopes that it might halfway hold a candle to my old spec.

I ordered a LS6(Z06) clutch for my 02 Hawk yesterday. Ya know, out of all the clutch discussion here, no one really has bad things to say about the LS6(Z06) clutch. And for $307.00 + shipping, you can't go wrong. - That's with a new flywheel too!! Unless your really into drag racing (which I'm not), this clutch should hold up just fine.
yeah i'm expecting good things out of it. i go to the strip maybe 2-4 times a year, and my only worry was how it will perform with bfg drag radials. also i beat on a clutch kinda hard on the street but that will be with the ol' kumos
