Default Clutch bleeding problems?

I have a 98 LS1.

I had my mechanic install a new Spec stage lll clutch.

He claims he is having troube bleeding the air out of the clutch system.

Last we talked he said he may try a vaccum from undernieth.

Any help or comments would be helpful.

Thanks,

Brett
