master or slave problems I just installed my new VDS and I noticed that the fluid was dirty so I depressed the vavle and let the dirty fluid free flow out while replacing it with clean fluid at the top. After I got the tranny installed boom pedal to the floor and nothing. I have depressed the pedal probably 100 times still nothing. I've done this before but I had the master on my work bench. It worked great any ideas?

something similar happen to me this summer with my master cylinder. i tried to bleed the system and when i did black fluid ran out. after the second time of trying to bleed it pedal pressure was lost COMPLETELY! i continued trying to bleed it and nothing helped. everytime the pedal was depressed i could hear a sound that i could only describe as air being sucked through a small hole.
does this sound like you?
i replaced the master cylinder and the problem was fixed. pedal pressure returned, and didn't have a problem with it when i was bleeding it last weekend when i replaced my clutch.
so you may want to consider replacing your master cyl.
