Centerforce clutch problem?? Heres the fix.
i ditched my CF long ago after dicking with it for 2 years and never got the problem fixed. but i will say CF did try to fix it and had great customeer service, but paying to have the clutch pulled and sent back all time got to be to much.
so i droped the CF and whent with cartek, ran the clutch on street and track for 60,xxx miles no problems, syncros whent out in tranny a few months back got that rebuilt and put anouther cartek in the car since the tranny was new again, still got the old for back up as it looked good still and was not sliping at all. lots of n20 runs and 5000 dumps or the line no probs i vote cartek

I had my trans rebuilt by T56 rebuilds.. and just left my center force in there because it was still new... got the trans back... the damn clutch F'd up my 4th gear and slider because of those lame weights (causes vibration)... just sent my trans back to Amber and Joe @ T56rebuilds to fix it again... and im ditching the Center Force..
Amber tells me they have fixed 8-9 transmissions very recently with this problem.. all were using center force dual friction...
and it cant be hydrolics.. because on the 1st rebuild.. I upgraded the hydrolics, newer slave, newer master with drill mod.

hmm.... i dont know what to do.... should i buy the master... since everyone saying its gonna work... but whats this i hear about the centerforce messing up the tranny?.... stupid centerforce

so i order the ram master from thunderracing.... it took them a month to even answer me before they could even say they couldnt ship it out due to some problem with ram.... anyone know where else i could order it from....
My car had one in it when I got it. It never gave me any big problems, it wasn't the fastest shifting thin out there and powershifting was a no go but quick could be made 99% of the time. I just dropped the motor out the bottom to do my MS4 install and I also did the Drill mod. now it seems to be having those symptoms where after a high rpm run it won't shift and pedal sticks to the floor(almost its 1-2inches from floor) I think we never got it bleed right we spent awhile doing the traditional bleed and went thru almost a bottle of fluid and never got good pedal. I put a might vac on it for 10mins and it seems better(no driving just feeling pressure) so I have the mighty vac back on it and I going to leave on there for awhile. if you haven't tried the mighty vac bleed method I suggest it. my car is a 99 with stock hydraulics I as far as I can tell/assume

Weights I know Iam getting old and reflexes are slowing down. Was very disappointed on missing shifts. I shift very hard and at high rpm 6000+ with my tremic 6 speed behind a LS3 carberated. I made sure my hydrolic throw out bearing was working fine.
Thanks to some post I read said to remove the weights. Well took them out and I'm one happy camper. I think centerforce will not tell you this. It more of a gimmick to sell clutches to hotrod guys. After removing weights there is no slippage. I take some of my car friend for a ride and they all shi?when they see how hard I shift. Next winter I will pull the clutch and and get one from RPS.
