Default Reverse lock out solenoid

How can i check the wiring to the Reverse lock out solenoid to see if its good. I got the solenoid itself checked and it was ok, but what do i need to do to check the wiring. I looked over the wiring and it looked fine. Could it be the wiring inside the adapter that snaps into the solenoid, it so can you take apart or would i have get a new one. Im sorry if these are stupid questions but it sucks having to use two hands to get in into reverse! Im very thankful for any advice. I have tried to search this and could not find what i was looking for.

This seems like a common problem here lately. Have you tried to get somebody to read the codes from the computer? If you can't get them read, try clearing the computer.
