Default tranny

if ur having trouble with all the gears ur clutch may not be fully dissengaging, u could probably fix that with an adjustable master. if its just reverse it could be that synchro or maybe the shift fork too

rebuilding atranny will not help a poorly releasing clutch. When the box was put back in was the wiring connected properly? It is easy to mis-connect the solenoid leads.

What about the solenoids/ connection? It is hard to miss damaged synchronizer teeth on a rebuild- do you trust the job?

Why not start with the small things. First bleed the system, and make sure all the connections are good. If the problem is still there, then move onto something bigger. Are you on the stock clutch/hydraulics?
