!Having an issue! slave connection supposed to be like this? Have had the Spec 3 for about 1300 miles now and I am just now starting to use it. I love it but yesterday afternoon on the way home I was hearing a spinning sound when I would try to go into any gear. I thought I didn't have the pedal all the way down...so I made a conscious effort to shift when the pedal was to the floor. Sometimes I can't even get it into gear until the RPM's drop. It doesn't act like this all the time though.

Is the plastic ring supposed to be loose like that? I am able to wiggle the connection quite a bit.
Any thoughts?

Yes the ring is suppose to look like that, it's a quick connect fitting. The way to disconnect it would be to push the plastic ring down into the fitting towards the slave cylinder until it disconects. This is definately not your problem. When you installed your clutch did you do any hydraulic up grades?
Did you replace it or did someone else? Just wondering because of previous question, do you just think your clutch is not properly dissengaging properly? if so, try to bleed the lines and see if it goes away.
