Ripper Shifter Question I just got done installing my new Ripper shifter on my 2000 T/A M6. Actually had my girlfriend doing the "flashlight holding" lol Anyway, I got it all buttoned up and test drove it.
I seem to hear more road/driveline noise. Is this normal or was it there all along? She said it was just because I was driving with the radio off, but I thought that the sounds were more audible. Yes, I replaced the factory shifter boot and everything so I didn't miss anything. Just wondering if this was normal or not.
Oh yeah, shifts awesome and the 2-3 shift is amazing!

What is the difference between the Pro 5.0 and the Ripper. I know the pro has that 2-3 shift that is a sinch. BUt does the Ripper have the same effect?? Sorry to steal the thread, it seems like you got the ? answered. Thanks guys.

Yeah it is the same effect. But the 5.0 is a whole lot louder because you have the shifter sticking out of the rubber boot very loud compared to the Ripper I have had all three shifters (Hurst Billet) I prefer the B&M over them both in almost every point the 5.0 is a shorter throw though and kinda notchy feeling the Hurst was still to vague etc.
