Replacing slave??

Replacing slave?? Just checking my buddy and I are needing to replace the slave on his m6 just seeing if someone could guide along. Ive never had to do this on a m6 so just wanted to check and see what all needs to be done. ALso bleeding the clutch-how is this done?? Thanks for the help.

To replace the slave, you have to pull the transmission out. Once you get it out, you will see the slave cylinder. You just remove the 2 10mm bolts, and plug the new one in. To bleed, you need something like a mitivac, or the phoenix bleeding system(which is what I use)! Once you put the tranny back in, you loosen the bleeder valve on the slave cylinder, and hook the bleeder up to it. When the reservoir fills up, you are bled. It works best with an empty master cylinder!
