Default Help W/ Harlan Shift Light

I bought an 01 SS that had the harlan shift in it already. Well the clutch went out and I took it to have a new clutch put in. When I got it back the shift light would not engage. The shift light comes on when the you turn the key but will not engage. Any suggestions?

The shift light has nothing to do with the clutch. It is wired by a ground and power wire. Check your ground wire and make sure there is a good contact and also check the powerwire which is supposed to be spliced from your pcm.

Sounds like it's getting power since it comes on when you first turn the key... I'd check the wiring to the tach wire on the PCM to make sure that didn't come loose. You can also check to see what RPM the shift light is currently set to... for some reason it might have accidentally gotten set to an RPM that's way higher than it was at before.

I'd check both those things first and see what you come up with.
