How much does it cost to beef up a T56?

ya the prices went up cause its $2000 just for the rebuild. But you really liked the job they did? also have u had any problems at all with the trans?

Check out D&D at ddperformance.com. They'll be doing my t56 this winter.I have no second gear and I'm loosing 3rd. They have the viper up grades and more. Mine rebuilt with all upgrades will be around 1000.00 DVZ

my 5th is messed up...it grinds when i try to put it in 5th. i put a new clutch in, drill mod, 02 hydraulics, new fluid...the tranny is still notchy...i am going to fix the tranny myself and i tried to look for this master rebuild kit but i havent been able to find it anywhere...i want to get a steel 3/4 fork also...where is a good place to get the parts i need??

i dont have money for a brand new tranny...

Now that is a good price. I got a local build up price for $1200 labor+ parts. So i will try to either lower the 1200 price and go from here or **** my tranny to DD for a rebuild. How much did it cost you to ship the tranny? Do u know whats the shipping weight?

Do they do all the work there for the internal and machine work for the viper output shaft? They give you a yoke with that too? Or is the grand for something else?

The upgrade kit was around $750 and labor was around $250. I know It totalled close to a grand, I'm not sure all the details without calling them. When I did call I told them I wanted the trans built to the 650ft/pd torque rating so I wouldn't be doing this again for a long time. Check out their web-site its got some good info on it. As for shipping I'm still driving the car til snow flys. DVZ
