Want cam, but clutch says, "me first!"

Want cam, but clutch says, "me first!"
Hey guys, I'm getting ready to install a new clutch and steel flywheel on my '02 Z28. It has LT headers, a catback, a lid, and a K&N filter. I plan to install a small cam (224 max) soon, so I'm guessing it will be around 350-375 rwhp at that point. I won't be doing any other mods anytime soon (wife, kids, stupid '72 Suburban money pit). I've done some searches, but I've got a couple of questions for those that have been there, done that.
1) I've narrowed clutch choices down to: Ram HDX, Ram Powergrip, or the Z06. I drive this car a lot, I don't want any chatter (3.42 gears). The car sees mostly street abuse, but I plan to take it to the track occasionally. Which clutch should I get? Feel free to chime in if you think there are better choices.
2) Are there any reasons NOT to do the drill mod?
Thanks in advance for your input, as I'm sure it will be constructive and beneficial. Have a nice day.

If you go with any aftermarket clutch, you'll probably have to expect at least a little chatter once in a while... since you have a cam planned, I'd go with the RAM Powergrip Stage 3. Should be a nice compromise for what you want... just make sure to get the billet flywheel and the RAM adjustable master cylinder with it.
Might want to look into the McLeod Single Kevlar/Organic as well... at first glance it looks pricy (around $700 for the kit) but it includes the clutch, flywheel, and an adjustable master cylinder.

I'd recommend the Ram Powergrip, hands down. It won't have the chatter like a SPEC, and it will easily hold the power you're producing. We have the Ram Powergrip for $389, and you can add their adjustable master cylinder for $175. It's cheaper than a SPEC, and I think you'll be happier with it.
We keep the Ram clutches, flywheels, and adjustable master cylinders in stock, so feel free to call or e-mail if you have any specific questions. We're going to try the Powergrip HD setup with Ram's billet steel flywheel and adjustable master in our '99 twin turbo C5.
