Default Hard shifting, Need Experts within...

I have a spec stage 3 clutch in the car and it has 6K miles on it. It was installed right and broken in for 1K miles of easy driving. I installed all new hydralics at the same time as well and did the drill mod. About two months ago the shiftng became really hard to get into gear at a stop and can't get into reverse at times. I re-bled the hydralics and nothing changed.

I purchased an adjustable master cylinder and adjusted it all the way in and all the way out and the shifting didn't change at all.

I used loctite on all the bolts in the flywheel and pressure plate.
The clutch has only seen 1 launch on slicks which was this past february.

I need suggestions on what it might be either A) the disk has worn B) air in the hydralics or C) something else.

The wierd thing is that once the car is moving it shifts fine but once it comes back to a complete stop I can't get it into gear and I almost have to force it in.

Loctite or no, I would still put my money on the bolts that hold the pressure plate to the flywheel. There's not room for the throwout to do anything but work and if it had a problem bad enough to cause it to not work properly, you'd know it from the noise and/or fluid loss. Assuming all your hydraulics are full and bled properly (bleeding them on these cars is a ..... well, let's just say it's a pain) the only other thing that can have slack in it is the pressure plate. The behaviour you describe is consistent with 1) low fluid or air in the lines, 2) a throw-out that isn't throwing out, or 3) a loose pressure plate.

Good luck, and happy hunting.

Its not your clutch
something inside the tranny is messed up.
Broken keys, shift pad missing. If you ground the gears enough you might even need more parts.
sounds like its time to rebuild the tranny.

They have syncros for different gear shifts, you said that you somtimes have to force the car in first at a stop? almost like the clutch isnt in when it is?, also, is it hard to get the car in second when your really on it sometimes?

Ill call him up today and ask how much the parts and intallation was and get back with you. It wasnt that much, he got the 1-2 syncro, and he also got an ajustable clutch cable to make sure the clutch was fully engaged

when he replaced it he had a friend do it, so it was cheap as hell. but what I gathered when synchros are involved, you need to pull the transmission apart.. in a T-56, they're expensive to build, etc. You're going to need to pull the transmission apart, replace the synchro itself, pull the blocking ring out, replace it, sometimes even the gear depending on how bad the damage is. It all really depends, I dunno a quote on one of those,

I have rebuilt the T-56 for as little as 200 bucks (mine) all they way up to 2000 bucks.
I still only made a 100 bucks or less off each one.
it all depends on what parts you need.
I make nothing off parts so the peaple around here know I'm only tellin them what to put in for their benefit, not mine.
