6 speed reverse problems-HELP
6 speed reverse problems-HELP Hi I'm new to ls1tech and need some help with my 6spd. When I go to back my 95 6spd formula up, if i keep the rpms low, don't let the clutch all the way out and back up slowly its okay. I mean like 1000-1400. But any higher rpm or backing up at more than a crawl and it starts to grind and then throws itself out of reverse. You can't hold the shifter in reverse, it violently throws the shifter back. What is broken or needs to be done? HELP. Thanks.
At least the fork pads are worn. At worst the fork is bent, too and the synchro sleeve teeth and the gear cluthch teeth are worn off - requiring replacement. Must be removed/ torn down to fix.
