swap help... Alright so I swapped from A4 to M6 today and I went to start the car and I'm getting nothing at all.... anyone possibly know what could be wired wrong under the dash? or something I should be looking for? the lights and everything work... just no cranking 
Well it is hard to help you without knowing what was changed besides the trany. What was changed wiring haress or what and what years are both of the cars etc... Been there done that and it is pretty easy must be something simple.

What car do you have? The manual uses a switch on the clutch peddle to close a circuit to allow you to crank the engine. The auto has a switch in the shifter assembly that allows the engine to crank. If your car is a OBD2, 96 or newer, you would change or reflash the computer and have to do the rewiring. I've swaped a 93 Firebird and the computer can stay the same but you must connect the clutch switch to the wires from the shifter.

I have a 2000 Trans Am sorry for the confusion and the swapped Transmission is also from a 2000.. I did not swap the wiring harness... I Assume could it be the park-neutral switch? I'm going to try to get it going today
