Default For racing which is better short stick or..?

Which is do you prefer for 1/4 racing? A short stick like Lou's short stick or the stock stick? which is easier for shifting when racing, i have the pro 5.0 shifter i was thinking of getting LSS, but my dad thinks that it might but easier to miss gears with a short stick . My dad thinks its easy with just the stock stick cause he ran two 12.75's @ 112 with my car

My best times are with a nub for a stick. It's less of a throw. Once you get the hang of the new length shifts should be quicker and more accurate. Atleast from my experiences anyway...

Just depends really. Everybody is different. A shifter is a person to person preference really. Generally the shorter shifter is faster given equal driver's, but again some people like the longer handle and are fast with it. It's all about what you are comfortable with. I would recommend checking out a few cars with an aftermarket shifter and see how you like em.

If the stock throw was any longer, you'd be driving a truck.
