Default Easy way to bleed clutch lines w/out removal?

I had to pull my tranny out for some work, so I just disconnected the clutch line. Got everything back together, and the pedal seems softer, like there is some air in the system. I expected this, and I thought it would bleed itself out eventually. After several weeks it hasnt yet. Any thoughts?

dude, have someone pump the pedal several times and hold it down. While they are doing this, someone needs to be under the car bleeding the system through the slave cylinder bleeder. All you need is a ratchet. You can see the bleeder. The trans has an opening to do so. It is right below the quick disconnect from the master to the slave. After you hav opened it, close it, then let off the pedal and repeat, until pedal firmness is restored. Also, watch the fluid reservoir, and make sure it doesn't get too low. Hope this helps.

If you have a mityvac, try and pull some bubbles out of the top of the fluid reservoir. You might be surprised how much air you will find.

Pressure bleed it. Review the posts on making one. You’ll get a perfect bleed first try. I’ve used every method, save yourself the grief.
