Default Clutch help

Well, here is my situation. My car is a 98, it has a cam and all the big bolt-ons. I had a spec 3 in there (with a new stock flywheel and upgraded GM hydrolics), but I had to sell the spec 3 and the flywheel because I reeeeeeally need the money (I kept everything else). Sadly I never even got out of the break-in peroid with the clutch so I never got to see how it grabbed. My money situation is alot better and I am ready to buy a new clutch (and hopefully keep it this time LOL!).

I can get a new Luk clutch with flywheel for 370, and they claim it grabs 25% better than an 04 z06 clutch. By my calculations 25% better than a stock 04 z06 clutch should be 562 hp. That sounds like it would grab pretty damn good, especially considering I am only putting 360 at the rear wheels (about 425 at the crank). How long do you guys think this clutch will last (I drive my car around town like an old man, and at most will probably only make 10 passes a month at the track. The track passes will be on stickies though). I have a stock 10 bolt so I will have to launch no higher than 2.5K. Honestly I would perfer to go with this clutch over a spec. Opinions are always welcome. Thanks

I like SPEC clutches. But if you're on a tight budget, it seems like the LUK is what you want.

Don't know about the LUK clutches, don't have any personal experience with them. I have a spec 3 in mine right now and I don't have any complaints. Well, I take that back, that bitch was the reason for me breaking my driveshaft and 10-bolt.
