Default Vert .vs Coupe chassis difference (pics) - Does your coupe have these?

This is convertible chassis. As far as I can tell these are the only differencese (98-02) in the chassis of the vert and the coupe. I have not seen these on a coupe. Let's get this settled once and for all.

Actually the Vert have a sort of built in subframe connector. you see those rails that go all along the sides. on coupes they dont go all the way along the car.

I stand corrected. Makes sense now that I look at some archived pics. I guess this is the difference.

There is a lot of difference inside the car as well. I will have to post some pics when I am near my home computer. If you take the rear seat cushions off they bolt to a bracket welded to the floor on a coupe. On a convertible the bracket is part of a whole new cross member stiffening the floor. Behind the rear seat there is a piece added to make a hump at the front of the raised shelf, quite a stiff gauge of metal too. Each of the side bolsters (next to the rear passengers) has a piece covering up the whole side of the car near the rear seats.

I am not sure what else there is.

I'm really interested in seeing these pics.
