what else would i need other than tranmission to switch my '98 SS to auto

Carreras, where are you from? I have a '98 A4 and want to swap to a M6. Is yours still good? How many miles? Mine is still stock, with only about 44K miles. I am located in Central Iowa.

I'm from Corpus Christi TX. My tranny has 46,000 miles on it and might need a clutch disk.

no, you just have to rig the reverse switch to get the reverse lights to work.
