Who's running the RAM Power Grip HD?
How does the pedal pressure feel and is it smooth enough for stop and go? A dealer said it is comparable to the Spec 3 (i had one) in holding ability buy is smoother.

I daily drive mine...pedal pressure is firmer, but not bad. After a month of driving it, I didn't even notice. My girlfriend on the other hand did notice, but she can still drive it. Stop and go traffic isn't bad once you get it broken in. It'll suck at first as you are learning to drive the clutch, but give it about a week and it'll all be good.

Yeah... after a month you get used to it.... then after a year or more it really begins to suck. I daily drive my car in lots of traffic, so I finally got tired of the stiff pedal and the chatter/shudder at takeoff. No doubt the Ram does the job at holding anything you throw at it.
I just recently swapped to a Spec Stage3 and left the McLeod master cylinder. Man, what a sweet setup! You can actually slip it a little at takeoff, the pedal is just slightly stiffer than stock, which in my opinion is just about right. I've always thought the factory pedal was too easy/soft. The Spec seems to have a cleaner feel to the release/engage. The Ram was one solid stiff resistance. Kinda hard to explain. I've driven a friends car with the Spec Stage 3 and a stock master cylinder, and it's fine, too. I just like the shorter stroke required with the McLeod master.
Out of the 6 clutch setups I've gone through, this Spec3/McLeod m/c setup is by far the best. Now I just need to see how long it lasts.
BTW.... after approx 35k miles on the Ram VDS, it still looks great. Very little wear on the disk, and even the flyweel and pressure plate have minimal wear considering the abuse I've given it over the past 3 years. It will now live on in my buddy's drag car.

I have a feeling the VDS has a bit more pedal pressure, but I've never driven one.
