Default A4 to M6 swap

I;m thinking about swapping a M6 into my car because i hardly ever make it to the track and i do alot of roll races. How much would it cost to do something like this? and also, how much power will the t56 hold??

if you go to tennessee used auto parts=====================> thwy have complete swap kits for a4 to m6 swaps it 1595.99. and i think for a brand new one its about 2.5k. as for installation there should be some ls1 shops that could do it for around 700 to 800.

btw im also considering the same thing for the same reasons. got a guy i work with with a 5 speed cobra who i just destroyed from a dig and now all he ever says is "ill blow u away from a roll".
and its also more fun slammin through the gears

There's no way I can save up that much money. What if I could find someone that wants to do a swap from m6 to a4? Could I just use all of their parts or would i have to buy some?

Dude, I know how it is to want a M6. I looked into the swap myself and am very mechanically inclined. I do ALL of my own work, but, I decided to just get rid of my car and start over. It'll be alot of hassel, alot of $$$, and the value of the car will be severely impacted. I loved everything about my car, but the A4 and I like black the best. I have no regrets in trading her off for my new one. It's actually fun starting over. Good luck in whatever you decide, but that's my .02

If you can install it or get a shop to install it all then I'm up for it.

Check out this site: http://www.tennesseeauto.com/t56trpaandki.html
I'll probably be ordering the 6speed conversion kit myself w/in the next month from them. It's alot less hastle then having to find all the separate parts/bolts/etc at a junkyard(s).
