Default rubber shifter boot

I dont really like the stock shift boot that is on my car now, I dont like how it bends and folds together in some areas, I would rather it be "perfect" looking and smooth all the way around. I kind of like the look of those square rubber boots and was wondering if it would look better. I found a lot of sites that thought their stock rubber boots wear cheezy and switched to a leather one, but personally I think a dark black smooth sleek rubber boot would look better than the crumpled up pleather one.
Here is some pics I found for some idea to what it would look like, the last one wouldnt look good (circular) but it shows hows the rubber look can look really "clean"

Give my your thoughts on what you think about it

You should try the real leather boot from Afterthoughtsauto.com. They are a sponsor. The quality is 10X better than stock, and they are smooth. Just an idea, but those rubber shift boots are ugly imho.

Are you trying to make your car look like an 80's manual truck?

If I wanted to change the boot, the upgraded leather from afterthoughtsauto.com would be the only thing i'd consider.

And throw a Cobra **** on while your at it.
